Prayers for Freedom…
Struggle with Fear? Rejection? Unforgivness? Bitterness? Jealousy? Envy? Self Hatred? Self Bitterness?
So did I and there is HOPE!
First giving your life to Jesus Christ is what brings you home to the heart of God. If you have never done this or have been away for a while, feel free to pray this prayer, He is waiting for you.
Jesus, I need you. I need your life and your love. I believe you are the Son of God. I believe that your death on the cross was for me– to rescue me from sin and death and to restore me to the Father in Heaven. I choose right now to surrender my life to you. I turn from my sin and my self-determination, and I give my life to you. Thank you for loving me and forgiving me. Come and take your rightful place in my heart and in my life. Be my Savior and my Lord. Live in me; live through me. I am yours

Here is a prayer for overcoming FEAR!
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I confess, and repent for allowing the (specific fear) in my life, and I repent for all my generations. I ask You, Lord Jesus , to forgive me. I purpose and choose to forgive myself, from my heart, for allowing this (specific fear) in my life and I release myself rom this fear. In the name of Jesus, and by the power of His blood, I cancel all of satan’s authority over me in this fear. In the name of Jesus, I command this fear to go. Holy Spirit, I invite you into my heart to heal me of this fear. Please speak your works of truth to me about this situation.

Here is a prayer (and little process) for overcoming rejection.
Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask you to forgive me for:
1. Any fear of rejection
2. Ways that I have rejected others
3. Ways that I have rejected myself
4. Ways that I have desired rejection
I purpose and choose to forgive myself and release myself rom (the above specific sin). In the name of Jesus I can all of satan’s power and authority over me in this issue. Because God has forgiven me and I have forgiven myself, in he name of Jesus, I command the sprit of rejection to go.
Holy Spirit please come and heal my heart, and tell me your truth about this situation.

Here is a prayer to overcome unforgiveness and bitterness (see blog for story on forgiveness)
In the name of Jesus, and as an act of my free will, I purpose and choose to forgive (the person) from my heart for (what they did)
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I cancel all (the person’s) debts or obligations to me. Lord Jesus, forgive me for my bitterness towards (the person)
In the name of Jesus, I break and cancel satan’s power over me in this memory, and the resulting pain. I hate the devil.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I command that all the tormentors that have been assigned to me because of my unforgivness to leave me now. In the name of Jesus, I command all the bitterness to go.
Holy Spirit come into my heart and heal me of this pain and this hurt.

Here is a prayer for overcoming jealousy and envy
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, and as an act of my free will, I confess and repent for the (specific jealousy/envy). I ask you, Lord Jesus, to forgive me.
I purpose and choose to forgive myself, from my heart, for this (specific jealousy/envy), and I release myself from any guilt or shame from this (specific jealousy/envy).
In the name of Jesus, and by the power of His blood, I cancel Satan’s authority over me in this (specific jealousy/envy). In the name of Jesus, I command this jealous and envy to go.
Holy Spirit, I invite you into my heart to heal me of this pain and hurt. Please speak your works of truth to me about this situation.

Here is a prayer for overcoming self bitterness/self hatred
Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, and as an act of my free will, I confess, repent and renounce my (specific sin of self hatred).
I ask you to forgive me for this sin. I purpose and choose to forgive myself for this (specific sin) from my heart.
I release myself from any guilt or shame because of this self-bitterness. In the name of Jesus, and by the power of His blood, I cancel Satan’s authority over me because of this self-bitterness of (name specific sin mentioned above).
In the name of Jesus, I command this spirit of self-bitterness to go.
Holy Spirit, I invite you into my heart to heal me of self-bitterness. Please speak your words of truth to me about this situation.

Even if you don’t “feel” like praying these prayers, if you sense you are bond by fear, rejection, unforgivness or bitterness, I plead with you to pray them out loud. The enemy does not want you free, but I do and much more importantly JESUS DOES!!
It is for freedom that Jesus Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
